Buy “It’s A Disaster!” — The Quick Reference Guide That Should Be in Your Survival Library

Why should you have It’s A Disaster! in your survival library? Janet Liebsch and I talked about that yesterday on DestinySurvival Radio.

To start with, It’s A Disaster! is easy to use. That’s because it’s a quick reference book, not a narrative or some long story to wade through before you get to what you need to know. There are lots of easy to see headings, subheadings, and bullet points.

Do you remember the times when you looked up your child’s illness in a home health encyclopedia? You needed to find specific information fast.

That’s how it is with this book. Find everything from dealing with biological and chemical attacks, to extreme weather, to bites and stings, and a whole lot more.

The Table of Contents and index are well laid out for you. There are plenty of resources and web links for your further research, too.

Much of the book’s contents comes from a number of government agencies throughout the U.S. as well as Canada. Since it’s compiled into a handy book, you don’t have to go searching for it all elsewhere. An important advantage to having so much information in one place is that you don’t have to leaf through dozens of brochures or pages you may have printed out from numerous sources.

It’s A Disaster! is the size of a normal paperback, so it’s small enough to take backpacking, put in a desk drawer at work, or put in your bug out bag at home. And because it’s a book, you won’t need batteries. No worries about being unable to look up information on the Internet because the electricity’s off.

Not only does this book deal with disaster prevention, it gives tips on what to do in the aftermath of a disaster.

If you look through the book yourself or with your family ahead of emergencies, you’ll know what might be relevant for your situation. For example, you wouldn’t need hurricane preparedness info in the heart of Canada. But you may need first aid tips wherever you are.

It’s A Disaster! is complementary to other books you have on preparedness, such as Making the Best of Basics.

It’s also easy to understand because it covers basics for so many who aren’t familiar with preparedness in short term disaster situations. But even those of us who’ve been prepping a while need to be reminded of simple things when we’re under stress.

With this valuable resource at your disposal, you’ll know what to do ahead of time to make yourself less dependent on first responders and other government help. Besides, that help might come much later, if at all.

Since this book is printed two to four times a year, information is updated and kept current. Plus, you can subscribe to the e-mail newsletter to get even more tips and resources.

Bill and Janet Liebsch have been working as a team for a number of years now. They’re passionate about helping people to be ready for emergencies. Their first edition of It’s A Disaster! was released in 1999. Sales have spiked from time to time in relation to events like Y2K and 9/11, but the vast majority of the population are still in need of what’s in their book.

That’s why they’re working so hard to distribute the book through various government agencies, not for profit organizations, schools, churches, etc. It’s a useful tool to help people like you and your neighbors become informed about preparedness.

Bill and Janet offer customization of their book. You can get stickers with your organization’s info to put on it, or you can have a larger printing done and get the whole cover redesigned with a new title. Pages used for notes in the regular copy can be replaced with whatever information your organization or business wants to include for the local area.

Click on the ad banner below for It’s A Disaster! below and check out the various options for buying and redistributing the book. Buy one or a thousand. Get a price break if you’re buying it for a government agency or charitable organization. Have a fund raiser for your church or school.

Get a copy for yourself and a family member or friend. Spread the word about preparedness and survival with the book that should be in every survival library. It’s in mine. Why not put it in yours today?
