Raising Quail for Food – Should It Be Part of Your Survival Strategy?

Recently I saw a video from Marjory Wildcraft of Grow Your Own Groceries about raising quail for food. Should it be part of your survival strategy?

According to Leo Magpoc of Phoenix, AZ, who’s interviewed in the video, raising quail is easy to do and takes up as little as 4 square feet of space on a table. You could even do it in an apartment.

Quail meat and eggs are said to be better than chicken. And you’ll be surprised by how much meat you can produce in a year’s time.

I’m curious to know your thoughts on Leo Magpoc’s method of raising quail in such a small area. Is this a miniature factory farm?
