Living Strategically as a Prepper–How Are You Doing?

Prepping is about more than having the right gear and supplies. This week’s DestinySurvival Radio explores that topic and looks at the bigger picture of living strategically as a prepper.

The show is a reairing of a conversation I had with Gaye Levy of BackDoorSurvival.com about the e-book she coauthored with George Ure called 11 Steps to Living a Strategic Life.

I and others have talked and written often about the importance of having a survival mindset. What goes on between your ears is your best survival tool, whether you’re living like a primitive in the wilderness or making it through a traffic jam in the city.

Today’s world requires that we live strategically. For example, how are you doing at managing your money? Are you gardening? Bartering? And how’s your health–both physical and mental?

In late November of 2012 I discussed this and more with Gaye Levy. With so many books on prepping coming out these days, we sometimes forget about those which have been out there for a while already. Good information is good information wherever you find it, and 11 Steps to Living a Strategic Life isn’t your typical prepping book.
