Prepare for Break Up Ahead

Dmitry Orlov has been saying for at least four years now that the U.S. will break up, as the old Soviet Union did. But does the fact that it hasn’t actually happened mean that it won’t? I think we’d be unwise to overlook the very real possibility that it will indeed take place. Only the timing is in question.

Orlov has a book on the subject called Reinventing Collapse: The Soviet Example and American Prospects. I’ve written about his ideas in a couple of blog posts you can view here and here.

I encourage you to watch the video below. It’s an excellent interview with Orlov which was done in March 2012 .It’s as relevant as ever, if not more so.

I find in talking to folks a lot of them see a collapse coming and not preventable.
A friend said he sees in the supply end that some companies of a smaller size have a hard time getting supplies now that was never a problem before. Seems the die has been cast and there is little hope for it to be preventable.
the little things one needs for the long an short “things” are in limited stock at most places tried and prices is 3 times or more than a few months back.

Interesting. I saw an article saying only 30% of Americans trust the government, so perhaps that means more are waking up to how bad things are.
