Do You Have What it Takes to Stop the Bleeding?

I’m talking about real, red blood. The kind that makes some of us faint when we see it.

In everyday life–and especially in a survival situation–bleeding from a wound can get serious in a hurry. It doesn’t matter if it’s a nose bleed, a cut from a kitchen knife while cooking, or a gun shot wound from a hunting accident.

What you and I need is a reliable way to stop the bleeding–and fast.

CELOX may be the miracle that meets that need. There’s a line of CELOX products with each one designed to stop bleeding quickly.

Madonna Spitler, CEO of CELOX was my guest yesterday on DestinySurvival Radio. She’s passionate about her company’s products, and it shows. We had no trouble filling our allotted time together.

Fellow Preparedness Radio Network show hosts Dr. Bones and Nurse Amy agree CELOX is a good product. They include it in their medical kits. If you’re a survival medic for your family or group, they encourage you to have it in your medical bag.

What is it? CELOX is available in granule form, gauze pads or rolls, and nosebleed dressing pads. The granules are made from shrimp shells which have been thoroughly cleaned and purified to neutralize the allergens which might affect some people.

How does it work? Madonna explained the scientific process behind CELOX. In a nutshell, the idea is not merely to soak up blood, but to cause it to clot, then seal the wound. You can then assess the severity of a wound and seek medical help as needed.

How do you use it? CELOX is simple to use. No need to worry whether you’ve got adequate medical training. Pour granules onto a wound, cover the wound, and apply light pressure. As for the gauze and nosebleed pads, they have granules embedded in them.

Is it painful? You don’t have to worry about CELOX creating heat at the wound site. It won’t sting or burn either.

Is it safe? No negative side effects have been reported. It won’t enter the bloodstream either. It’s even safe to use if you need to use the gauze in your mouth for dental purposes. Plus, it’s effective on wounds if you’re taking blood thinning medication.

Where did it get its start? CELOX was originally developed for the military and has been used in Iraq and Afghanistan. It’s FDA approved for consumer use.

Some of the products are especially designed for doctors and veterinarians. However, it’s not yet widely available in hospitals.

Who’s using it, and where? During our discussion, Madonna shared striking examples of how people have used CELOX. It made it possible for one man to survive a devastating chainsaw accident.

And, yes, you can use it on pets and livestock, too.

Take it along in your car, to work, school, for sports activities, and anywhere else where it would be handy for treating bleeding injuries.

CELOX is one of those products that seems too good to be true. I marvel that humans have practiced medicine for thousands of years and have only recently created something so effective for such a basic need.

Where can you get CELOX? You can’t buy it at retail outlets as of this writing. It’s only available online. Featured below are three of the products CELOX offers. They’re all DestinySurvival Picks. Click on the name of each one to go to the page where it’s featured. Add it to your cart to start the order process.

And finally… I invite you to hear the whole interview with Madonna Spitler by listening to DestinySurvival Radio for June 14, 2012. I’ve already received positive comments about the show. It could be one of the most important shows I’ve done, especially if it saves someone’s life.

Have you used any of the CELOX products? If so, do you believe it lives up to its claims? Leave a comment and share your experience with others.

    1. When the company contacted me a few weeks ago, I knew next to nothing about it. I’m glad to help get the word out.
