What’s Up With The Berkey Guy These Days?

The Berkey Guy is Jeff Gleason, and he’s a busy guy with a growing business and a young family. He was my guest yesterday on DestinySurvival Radio. It’s been several months since his last visit, and it was time to get caught up on a few things.

He called into the show while traveling. Though he had to get off before losing cell phone service altogether where he was, we got in some good conversation about several topics.

There’s now a blog at The Berkey Guy’s site, which began earlier this summer. The goal is to expose readers to a variety of good info on prepping. Jeff was kind enough to allow me to submit a guest post about straw bale gardening which originally ran here, and it has been well received.

Of course, we talked about Berkey water products for a while. Our focus was mostly on what you’d take if you were traveling. The Sport Berkey or the Go Berkey Kit are a couple of good options.

Jeff has other products on his site you’ll find of interest as well, including Wise Food Storage packages. He’s had very good response to the storage food items.

With the increased interest in prepping the past year or so, Jeff has noticed an increase in business and more questions from interested customers who want to be better prepared.

You can hear my chat with The Berkey Guy on DestinySurvival Radio for August 25th. You can get to Jeff’s site by going here.

If you’ve got comments about Berkey water systems, you’re welcome to leave a comment and share your thoughts.
