Some Ammo What If’s

In the September 2011 issue of Guns & Ammo magazine, a letter writer declares there’s no such thing as “low cost” ammo. No more factory ammo for him because prices doubled and tripled.

Shooting isn’t cheap any more. It hasn’t been since then either.

But then so many things in our economy now aren’t cheap. What if stocking up on ammo is a good investment? What if it would make a good barter currency among people you consider trustworthy?

What if ammo prices really are too high for you right now? What if you reloaded your own? What if reloading is easier and more enjoyable than you expected?

What if you used aLee Loader Kit For 308 Winchester? Lee loaders are the most popular. Find Lee loaders in other calibers when you type Lee Loader in the search box on EAmazon.

Let’s go a step further. If you’re reloading, what if you load down? Using less powder is cheaper and safer. It may make your firearm last longer, too.

What if you took the recommendation of a friend of mine? He recommends Trail Boss powder because it can’t be overloaded.

What if MotorKote makes your gun more accurate when you lubricate with it? What if you had no leading? What if you got as much as an extra 100 feet per second velocity from your cast slugs?
