Jack turned off the LED flashlight in the crowded camping tent. Then he turned on the UV flashlight. The topographical map on his lap lit up with markings he’d made with invisible ink.
The children ooh-ed and ah-ed. They were looking forward to a new secret game. And under cover of darkness yet. Was it still cloudy out?
Jack’s wife wished it truly was a game.
Soon their little tribe would be searching for the die-cut acrylic animal figures that reacted to UV light. That afternoon Jack placed them along the trail they’d take through the woods to their new location.
Jack was thankful he’d taken his friend George’s advice. Who knew that going to the American Science and Surplus Web site and doing a search for UV lights would help their family escape danger?
