Want it Made in the USA?

It’s good to know when a product you buy is made in the USA—actually made here, not just assembled here or trucked in and labeled as coming from a company with offices here in the U.S.  For some people this is an issue of patriotism, while for others it’s mainly a preference.

Lehman’s is one company I know of that specifies which of the products they sell are made in the USA.  Some are made by the Amish.  Look for items made in the USA when you click their logo on this page to go to their site.

There’s another site featuring USA made products.  In fact, they’ve been around for a little over a month and have signed up over 350,000 businesses based in the U.S.  The site endeavors to keep jobs here in this country by encouraging consumers to patronize companies that make things here.  They’re giving businesses the opportunity to get needed exposure to consumers.

The site can help you find furniture, pet supplies, clothing, and more.  While this isn’t strictly a survival/preparedness issue, it could be if you buy preparedness items made here in the USA.  Click here to view MadeInUSA.com.
