Survival Bag

“Hey, Duano!” shouted Bill as he lumbered into Duane’s living room.  “Look at my latest purchase.”

Duane looked up from his newspaper.  “Looks like a pretty big bag,” Duane said.

“Yeah, it is, but it’s more than just a bag,” Bill said.  “I’ll tell you something, Duano, I’m not really into this survival stuff Survival Sam’s pushing down your throat, but that blog does have some pretty cool stuff, if you know what you’re looking for.”

“So, tell me about your latest find.”

“I was going to name it Frank, but it’s real full name is Maxpedition® MPB Multi-Purpose Bag.”  Bill smiled.  “Impressed?”

“Maybe I will be when you show me more,” said Duane.  “Does it do tricks or roll over and play dead?”

“Naw, none of that fancy stuff,” said Bill.  “I tried that already.  I’ll tell you what it does do though.  It holds a heck of a lot of stuff.  It’s got 22 separate compartments, and you can use it as a computer bag or even a briefcase.  Here, I’ll let you handle it.  See for yourself.”

Duane began looking over the bag, turning it over in his hands.  “Looks like a guy could get lost in here.  It would hold a lot of gear and things.  Looks like there’s a place for everything.”  Duane looked up.  “You know what I think?”

“You think, Duano?”  Bill grinned.  “That’s a new one on me.”

“Oh, shut up.  You’re no genius yourself,” said Duane as he handed back the bag.  “I think this would make a great bugout bag.”

“Somehow I knew you’d say something like that,” said Bill.

          “Where’d you get it?”

“It’s from Brigade QuarterMasters,” said Bill.  “I typed in shooting accessories on their search box, and this was on the page.  I bet you could type in Maxpedition Multi-Purpose Bag and get to it right away.”
